Some informations to make your stay the best it can be.

PARKING     The area in front of the reception is intended for loading / unloading luggage only. Therefore, please do not leave your car parked but move it to the parking area under the pool area. The car park is not guarded and is free and accessible at any time.

CHECK-IN           The room is available from 2.30 pm (or earlier if possible)

CHECK-OUT       Please make the room available by 10.30 a.m. and hand over the keys at the reception. For departures before 8.00 a.m., please settle the bill the night before. Late check-out, subject to availability, will be charged at 50% of the room rate.

BREAKFAST on the veranda                                     from 8,30 a.m.  to 10,30 a.m.

LUNCH / DINNER For our guests we can offer a home-restaurant service on request, with menu to be agreed, that vary from day to day. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required.

NOT DRINKABLE WATER In Sicily, the availability of water is very limited and should not be wasted. In our area there is no aqueduct; water is purchased and replenished by tanker trucks and is not drinkable.

 

ENVIRONMENT Think of the amount of towels that are washed unnecessarily every day and the huge amount of detergent that pollutes our waters.

TOWELS We leave the choice to you: towels on the floor mean "Please change them"; the towels on the towel rack mean "I will use them again".

BEACH TOWELS Please do not leave them in the pool. They are replaced after 2 days.

 

WI-FI Scilla Maris Available in all rooms free of charge. There is no password.

RECOMMENDED BEACHES

We have an agreement with 3 beaches which, upon reservation, guarantee a place on the beach even in the first rows with a 10% discount (except for the month of August).

 

The beaches are: Agua Beach a San Lorenzo (aguabeach.it) and Lido San Lorenzo (lidosanlorenzo.it) in the Vendicari area, 3 minutes from Scilla Maris and Pura Vita (puravitabeachresort.com) close to Portopalo di Capopassero at 15 minutes.

 

There are also many others, e.g. Baiamuri (between Marzamemi and Portopalo) and all the beaches on the Tyrrhenian coast (Lido Scialai, Kalè Beach Club, Lido El Caribe, Carratois, Rio Beach, Baia Granelli) all reachable in about 15 minutes.

HOTEL’S RULES

NO SMOKING Please note that smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the resort, including the rooms. Guests are kindly requested to use the outdoor areas.

QUIET TIME During the hours 14.30 – 16.30 and 23.00 – 8.00 guests are kindly asked to observe a behavior appropriate to ensure that the rest of others is not disturbed.

PETS Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed. Inside the resort and outside the room you must keep the animal on a leash. It is not allowed to leave the animal alone inside the room for long periods of time. In case of damage caused by the animal, the owner of the animal is responsible.

POOL RULES

Premise

According to Regional Law no. 8 of 9 March 2006, the swimming pool covered by this regulation is considered a private swimming pool for collective use: "private swimming pools for collective use: these are those located in structures used, mainly, for other accommodation activities such as hotels, campsites, agritourism facilities and the like, as well as those at the service of communities, gyms or similar, accessible only to guests, customers, members of the structure itself", and is therefore for the collective use of the customers of Scilla Maris Charming Suites- Restaurant.

Lifeguard assistance is not provided.
Those entitled to it use it at their own risk, exempting the Management and the Property from any liability, both criminal and civil..

• It is accessible every day from 09:00 to 20:00.

• Please do not dive or yell so as not to disturb other people.

• The use of slippers or clogs is mandatory throughout the pool area.

• It is absolutely forbidden to occupy the sunbeds with towels if you are not present.

• Children under 14 years old must be accompanied and assisted by an adult in a swimsuit. Children under 6 years of age must also be accompanied in the water and kept at hand at all times.

• It is advisable to allow an interval of at least 3 hours between the meal and the bath.

• No person shall behave in such a way as to endanger the safety and health of himself or others.

• It is forbidden to enter the water with clothes or underwear.

• People with skin diseases or other infectious diseases are not allowed in the pool as well as people with exposed wounds or covered by bandages.​​​​
